Abdel-Shahid, Dr. Raafat Barsoum “Dr. Shahid” June 1, 1937 – October 4, 2019 Passed peacefully with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of Dr. Hoda W. Hanna. Beloved father of Salma Hanna, Mona Shahid and Naguib Shahid. Cherished Papa to Rowan. Brother to Yvonne, late Salwa, and late Nuha. Dear uncle to Marie, Mario and Nadra. Dr. Shahid was a dedicated, caring, and passionate physician who specialized in OB/GYN, delivering thousands of babies. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at St. Mary & St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church (1334 Benjamin Ave.) on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
