Obituary of Stephen Brian Pickup

Stephen passed away suddenly in his home, at the age of 57 years on September 30, 2019. He was the loving father of Bradley, Aaron and Eric, Grandpa to Ryder. Former husband to Nancy Berthiaume (nee Herold). Stephen is predeceased by his parents Brian and Vera. Dear brother to Susan (Ken) Larkin, June Williams, and Shelley (Ron) Gray. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Stephen was a friend to many and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Stephen spent his career as a gifted Glazier and worked on many beautiful buildings throughout Windsor and Essex County, including the Windsor Police Headquarters and The Chrysler Building. He had a passion for fishing and camping and we all have fond memories of him at Mitchell’s Bay. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd E., (519-254-7234) on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the Canadian Mental Health or the Transitional Stability Centre to assist those suffering from mental health and addictions would be appreciated.
