Obituary of Vito Cascio

Passed away on September 30, 2019 with family by his side at the age of 87 years. Vito has been reunited with his loving wife Giovanna. Cherished father of Natale “Chris” and wife Jackie Cascio and Calogero and wife Lora Cascio. Adored Nonno to Julia, Michael, Tiziana and Nicholas. Dear son of the late Natale and Francesca Cascio and his siblings Giuseppe (surviving wife, Antonella), Francesco (surviving wife, Francesca) and Vincenza (Giuseppe). Dear brother-in-law to Frank (Bastiana) Drago. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Sicily, Australia, USA and Canada. Vito was known for tending to his garden and sharing his crop with neighbours and friends. He loved to cook for his family. Vito was very proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments. He is a retired member of LiUNA!625. The family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Scholl, Cancer Clinic, Bayshore staff and Hospice of Windsor. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral Service on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
