Obituary of Barbara Smith

SMITH, Barbara (nee Pundsack) Peacefully passed away following a courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family on September 26, 2019 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her parents George and Winifred Pundsack. Loving mother of Jamie (Ruth), Wayne, Janice (Dan), Jeff (Kathy) and Rick (Geralyn 2015). Devoted grandmother of Jenn (Darrin), Michael (1977), Becky (Travis), Jonathan (Megan), Jacklyn (Mike), Nichole (Fraser), Derek (1995), Tyler (Tiffany), Jacob (Heidi), Sarrah (Mike), Gina (Brian) and Eric (Samantha). Cherished great grandmother of 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of her twin brother George, Irene (Lou 1995), Fred (1955) and Maisie (Walt 2016). Barbara was a long time employee of Sears Canada where she retired after 19 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed spending her time with family and she looked forward to family gatherings and an invite for a good supper. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road, East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. Further visitation will be held in our chapel on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 10am until time of service at 10:30 am.
