Obituary of John "Papa John" Robitaille

ROBITAILLE, John “Papa John” Born in Quebec City on May 1, 1932 and passed away at WRH- Met Campus with his loving family at his side on September 13, 2019. Predeceased by his parents Emile and Alice Louise (nee Laperriere). Beloved father of Debra Johnson (Dennis), Nancy Ramos (Ray) and Michelle Poirier. Loving grandfather of David Turner (Allison), Max Ramos (Lauren) and Christopher Ramos. Dear brother of Jacque, Laurier, Henry Paul, Jean Guy and Jeanette. Predeceased by his siblings Judith, Cecile, Gilberte and Robert. John was a well known local musician and entrepreneur and will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the kind staff of Riverside Place for their many years of compassionate care. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234 on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Further visiting will be held in our chapel on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
