Words cannot express the deepest sadness I feel from the loss of such a special Uncle. He always taught us that family is a circle of strength and love. It is the very core of life. It was so very important to Uncle Paul that our family stay strong and to always find time to be all together. From the many pig roasts to the Fantastic annual Christmas Gatherings Uncle Paul always had our calendar full of Family events. When I was younger (around eight years old-that would make Uncle Paul 14 years old) I spent a lot of summers at my grandparents house with Uncle Paul. We would play cards together (he would cheat) watch The Waltons (good night John-Boy I would say goodnight Mary Ellen he would say back with the laugh) but the one thing I loved to do was colour the doodle art posters. As I would sit and colour at the table Uncle Paul would sneak up behind me and scare me to try and make me colour out of the lines as he was laughing so hard-- probably because most of the time it worked. Ever since then Uncle Paul has called me "Doodles" every chance he got. Even though my heart breaks knowing I will not hear him call me that name, I will try my best to take comfort in the many, many fun funny, loving memories I have with him. It's what Uncle Paul would have wanted. I miss you so very much Uncle PUD love Doodles XOXO

Uncle Paul, Godfather, Santa Claus, friend... I have called you so many names over the years. You've made me laugh so many times over the years. Your infectious hugs might even have broken a few ribs over the years. Your generous and accepting spirit boosted many smiles over the years. And who says those many years have to be over? I'll be keeping you around Paul, Love you, Dillon Orr and Félix Desmeules-Trudel

To the Family and Friends of Paul. My sincere condolences . Paul was a work colleague of mine for many years and like most people that knew Paul, he was always more than, someone you knew, you attended BBQs at his house , he maybe put a new roof on your house ( as was my case ) , and of coarse you knew his friends and family. I ran into him twice in the past 2 years since I left Windsor and both times , he was busy, like a man on a mission, he sure lived life to the fullest. He will be dearly remembered and missed. I have known Paul for over 30 years. There was never a dull moment with Paul around, remembering good times and laughing together, finding the humour in every story, the hugs, his infectious laugh and his efforts to involve all of us in the moment when we were together. Truly a one of a kind human being. We still can’t believe this has happened and will struggle with the fact he will not be physically present at our next gathering. But, Paul has given us a lifetime of laughs and smiles that will never leave us, something we can always remember to bring him into the moment and make us smile again & again. Paul we will miss you more than words can express. Thank you for being our friend and of course, proudly introducing us to Karey. Love you man ...... Chris & Gloria Nantau❤️

Brother, no one is perfect and sometimes you could be a pain in the ass, but we all knew the big heart that you had. You were loyal to your friends, you were a great brother to your siblings, and we know the strong love you had for your kids. Everyone could see that you were happy since you had found love again with Kerri. We will surely miss that sly smile and your efforts to involve everyone in an event even when they did not want to. We can take solace that you were taken from us while you were out doing what you loved—visiting with friends and having a few beers or rum and cokes. Life will be a little more boring now that are good gone. Rest In Peace Paul.

My deepest condolences to Paul's family & IRC associates. Paul was a consultant to my company for several years. He was very knowledgably, thorough and diligent with all projects. Best of all, he was very personable. Paul took the time to chat about things other than work and we enjoyed some laughs. That can be rare in this busy work environment. We recently talked about meeting for a golf game. Sadly that won't happen now, however I will enjoy special memories of the phone calls and sites meetings we shared. Uncle Paul will fondly be remembered for his larger than life personality and his great sense of humor. Never one to shy away from a prank or gag, he’d be sure to bring lots of laughter into every room. While visiting Canada, I drank down a bottle of beer and when finished, threw away the glass beer bottle into the trash. Uncle Paul promptly went over to the trash, opened his wallet and began throwing dollar bills away. He was bellowing with laughter and explained to me how glass beer bottles there fetch nice coin when returning. We had a good laugh together. He will be so deeply missed. Prayers to the entire Guilbeault and Bain Families. Love you and thinking of you all during this difficult time.❤️

Taken from us well before his time, Uncle Paul is remembered as the soul and spirit of our family. His remarkable smile, loving nature and unique sense of humor will live in our hearts forever. Holidays were always a favorite time for Uncle Paul...whether it was playing Santa Claus at Christmas or startling nieces and nephews at Halloween, he was the true "life" of every occasion. He took great pride in his ability to make people laugh and enjoy precious time spent together. We'll never forget the joy he brought to his family and friends. We love you so much Uncle Paul...RIP... Please take a moment to post a memory of your own.
