Dear Sharleen and family. We have been privileged to have had Rose in our Community Living family for the last 35 years. Some of the memories shared by those who knew her well were her love of her family, some of her fondest memories were spent with her siblings and parents at their cottage on Golden Lake in Killalae, Ontario. Rose spent hours fishing with her dad and proudly would show off her big catch of the day! She loved of all kinds of music and was a fan of the Lawrence Welk Show, she would watch the show on Saturday nights. Rose loved old movies and TV shows. She has a DVD collection that would astound you. She loved Shirley Temple and would sing along throughout the whole movie. It was so important to Rose to look her best everyday and she held us to that standard. That meant her outfit, matched her earrings, which matched her necklace, which matched her bracelet, a true lady through and through! Thank you for sharing your sister Rose with us. She will be dearly missed by so many of us, who had the privilege of knowing her and being a part of her life. On behalf of everyone at Community Living Essex County we extend to you our deepest sympathies. Karen Bolger
