Obituary of Anne Kovacic

October 15, 1929 – August 19, 2019 Our beloved Mama, Baba and Prababa went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 19th, 2019. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family in her 90th year. Born in Dugače, Bosiljevo, Croatia to late parents Stjepan and Ana Korenic. Anne has been reunited with her beloved husband, Josip (June 2018) with whom she celebrated 67 blessed years of marriage. Loving and devoted Mama of Frank, Ljubica and Mike Horvat and Mary and Ken Zytner. Cherished Baba to Jacqueline, Jason (Dawn), Zachary, Daniel and Jarrod. Adored Prababa to Jaylyn and Alexa. Dear sister to Danica Korenic (late Josip), Steve (Zorka) Korenic, Marica (Janko) Novosel. Dear sister-in-law to Ljubica Kovacic (late Karl). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Anne was a member of Društvo Bosiljevo. She was devoted to her family and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It brought her much joy and pride to share in their accomplishments in life. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at WRH – Met Campus for their professional and compassionate care provided to Anne and our family. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd, E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Service on Friday, August 23 at 9:15 am from the Funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
