Obituary of Alvin Rivait

Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Reunited with his loving wife Agnes Rivait. Cherished father of Brenda (Ross), Leon (Janice), Alvin, Liz (Duncan), Janice (Jon), George (Chantalle) and Gerald (Miranda). Dear grandfather of 16 grandchildren, predeceased by granddaughter Angel Rose (1998), and great grandfather of 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Homer Rivait and Bernadette (nee Richard). Survived by his brother Fred (Helen). A special thanks to CCAC and all the PSW workers for their care and compassion given to Alvin. Alvin was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #578. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday August 16, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 8pm. Cremation to follow. An inurnment will take place on Thursday August 22, 2019 at 11:30am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Alvin, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Society.
