Obituary of Adil Shamoon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Adil Shamoon on August 11th, 2019 after a long battle with ALS. He will be dearly missed by his wife Maysoon (nee Al Raies) of 39 years; his children Dr. Rita Shamoon (Matthew Tangney), Rana Shamoon and Danial Shamoon; and his precious grandson Isaac Tangney. Adil will forever be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit, intelligence and courage. Loving and generous, he will remain in the hearts of his family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors and angels at the Hospice of Windsor Essex County for their selfless dedication to his care. Funeral Mass will be at St. Charbel Parish on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be appreciated.
