My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Butcher family. I was a student of Mr. Butcher, he was the best teacher anyone could ever have. He taught me I could accomplish anything I put my mind too. I Recieved the very first trowel trades award, and made my grandfather a tomb stone. That my grandma loved. I made and painted many things in his class, and when things were slow, I even-wash his awesome car. Lol I wish I had the nerve back then to go to Toronto to train to be a woman brick layer like he wanted me to, but I didn’t. But that’s how he was, wanting everyone to succeed in life. (boy or girl ) at the time. I will miss him so much. He touch my heart. God bless you Mr. Butcher. Sincerely one of your favourite students back in the days... Kim Jolicoeur
