Obituary of Margaret Mary McCormick
The family of Margaret McCormick (nee Speeckaert) wish to announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday July 31, 2019 at the age of 96. Loving and devoted wife of Ambrose (2003). Beloved mother of Brian McCormick, Marilyn Jasin (Jerry), Janice Alliet (Jimmy, 2015). Cherished Mugga of Kelly Murgic (Frank), Amy Laus (Boris), Brandon Alliet (Isabelle), Kevin Alliet (Crystal), Michael McCormick (Meiray), Erin Dumouchelle (Brian). Extremely proud great-grandmother of Natalee, Niko, Nina, Noah, Nathan, Owen, Ethan, Evan, Alex, Luka, Emma, Jacob, Lily and Paisley. Special sister of Germaine Montbleau (2018) and Rose Kereliuk and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Through their example, Mom and Dad taught us the importance of love, faith and family. Their home was the gathering place where togetherness was celebrated. Mom was a doting host, always delighting family and neighbours with her wonderful baking. For twenty-five years her warm smile and pleasant nature made her a favourite cashier at the A&P Central Mall. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Shoreview At Riverside for the special care shown to Mom during her stay. A heartfelt thank you to neighbours Mary Lou, Roy, Maureen and Helen for their thoughtful visits. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Friday August 2, 2019 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 7:30pm. Visitation to continue at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd) on Saturday August 3, 2019 from 10am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Margaret, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
