(July 27) Today is both a sad and special day. To mourn the passing of Kyle, such a kind, generous, caring man. But also to celebrate his life, which has brought so many fond, enriching memories (and not to forget the funny memories - his sense of humour and jovial laugh are unforgettable). I wish I could be with you right now in Windsor to pay tribute to him, but I'm certainly there in spirit. For me, Kyle will always occupy a special place in my heart. I'll never forget the last time we were together in early June - Claire and I had a Pizza Night with Kyle, Mary, and Connor at their place and it was such a joyful time together with lots of laughter. We are all blessed for having Kyle be a part of our lives. He continues to be ever close to us in spirit.

Terribly saddened to hear about Kyle’s passing. I had the privilege of being one of Kyle’s professors at St. Clair College. I will remember him fondly as a thoughtful and kind man, one who worked so easily and well with everyone. Deepest condolences to his family and all his loved ones. A very dear friend for over 40 years I am so heartbroken at his passing. He and Mary stood by me during my darkest times and I love them both so very much and can only be consoled by the fact that he is in a much happier place. I will miss his loving temperament, his funny stories, and the love he had for my children. I will cherish our memories and forever hold him in my heart. Rest peacefully my dear. You will always be remembered as "the joker in the purple pants"
