Dear Bernie and family, My deepest sympathy for the loss of your exquisite and cherished Nadia. Although I didn't know Nadia well, my recollections of her are that she exuded a kind of quiet elegance, rooted in her sense of modesty, style, discretion, faith, wisdom, beauty and refinement. It was genuine and so seemingly effortless. It was who she was. What a precious jewel! Dear John and family, I am so very sorry and saddened to read of your Mom’s passing. I have many wonderful memories of spending time at Tiramisu always so warmly welcomed as if I was your mom’s favourite customer. Her obituary said it perfectly as it read “She took great pleasure in sharing her hospitality and impeccable style with all her friends at Tiramisu”. Scrivo a nome delle cugine Anna da Piemonte e Roberta di Basssno. Io sono Maria Luisa di Dolo figlio di Renata. Avevo 18 anni quando Nadia mi ha ospitata come cugina carissima a casa sua per 5 settimane. Sono state le settimane più belle ed indimenticabili della mia vita. Mi svegliavo e trovavo i Pancake con sciroppo d'acero appena cotti.. Mi ha fatto passare un periodo indimenticabile lei e suo fratello Graziano. Se avessi il passaporto aggiornato, sarei lì tra voi. Ma verrò a breve. Mi mancate tutti. Mi mancherà sempre Nadia. Non ci siamo sentite spesso, ma l'ho sempre pensata. È stata mia amica, oltre che mia cugina. Non potrò mai dimenticarla. Io e le mie zie. Buona nuova vita. Perche è questo che sarà per Lei. Biondissima cuginetta mia.

Dear Bernie, Cristina and family, John and family, and Graciano, Misha and I send our deepest condolences for your huge loss. She was truly a great friend who was always there if you needed her. I met Nadia when I first arrived in Windsor and discovered the famous Tiramisu Cafe. She always treated me so kindly and welcomed me into her cafe with open arms. She had the best taste in jewelry, clothing, art and in addition she made a mean cappucino. Most of all she adored her family especially her grandchildren that meant the world to her.
