Obituary of Jacob Nostadt
Jack was taken peacefully in his 90th year. He was surrounded by his loved ones where he gave them support and courage to let him go and join his loving wife Donna (nee See). Beloved father of Debbie & Ray Tracey, John & Christine Nostadt, Chris & Kay Dummer and the late Larry Dummer & survived by his wife Tina. Dear Papa to Jessica, Sheldon (Julia), Jonathon, Sarah, Madison, Ashley (Eric), Kaitlyn (Andrew), Tyler, Emily (Tyler), Luke (Crystal), Scott (Ally), Ken, James, Melissa, Kelly (Brandon) and Stefanie. Great Grandfather to 16 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Joe, Frank, Ray and Dellane Vermette. Jack was born in Kendal, Saskatchewan and moved to Windsor where he became an avid beef and cash crop farmer. Jack and Donna ventured into their own beef retail business and became known for their famous “Beef on a Bun”. They also showed prize-winning cattle with their children and grandchildren across the country. Jack’s farming passion continues on through the next generation. Jack’s personal relationship with each of his grandchildren is something they will cherish forever as he was so proud of each and every one of them.
We will never forget his blue eyes, his wonderful smile, and his contagious personality that could light up a room. Jack’s life lessons to all of us were “When life gets tough, just keep persevering” and “Remain close to your loved ones”.
The family has chosen a private farewell to this amazing man. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel.com
