Obituary of Mary Staruck

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Staruck on July 10, 2019 at 97 years of age. Beloved wife of Nick Staruck (1998). Cherished Mama of Mickey (1984) (Joanie), Donna (Ray) Chmilnitzky, and Marilyn (Gerry) Pinsonneault. Dearest Babchi to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Former president for many years of Lesia Ukrainka Women’s Association of St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Retired after 25 years from GM Trim Plant as a power sewer. Mary was devoted to her church, and spent many happy years singing in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family. Special thanks to the staff at Riverside Place for their excellent care of Mary. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm, Panahyda (prayers) will be held at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Monday July 15, 2019 at St. Vladimir’s Cathedral from 9am until time of Funeral Service at 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
