Obituary of John Ernest Kristof

John Ernest Kristof September 10, 1928 - June 29, 2019 With deep sadness we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, papa and great grandfather. John passed away peacefully with family by his side. Loving husband of his sweetheart, Irene Kristof, for 65 years. Devoted father to Dianne & Dino Salvador and Stephen & Denise Kristof. Amazing “Papa” to Erin & Brian Remillong and Kara Kristof, and great grandfather to Adam and Emma Remillong. Predeceased by parents John & Elizabeth. Loving brother to the late Ann & John Horvath, Elizabeth (Betty) Nemeth & the late Ernest Nemeth. Dear brother-in-law of Lou & Sharron Gyenes. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Will be greatly missed by his weekly billiards buddies John, Dick, Bill and Louie. He worked in the office at Chrysler Transport and loved his job; he was with Chrysler for 44 years. Special thanks to the WRH Met Campus doctors and nurses in the ER and 5th floor palliative care. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd) from 10am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Private family interment to follow at a later date.
