Obituary of Pietro Marson

Marson, Pietro March 30, 1930 – June 25, 2019 Passed away peacefully with family by his side on June 25, 2019 at the age of 89 years. He will be reunited with his loving wife of 62 years, Anna (2015). Dearest father to Josie (Steve Richard), and Eddy (Louise). Special Nonno to Melissa, Peter (Christina Elliott), Tom (Josie), Dina, Lana (Chris Worotny), Aaron, and Jeremy Coombe (Holly Yoell). Cherished great-grandfather to Neva, Evelyn, Chloe, Parker, Kay, Ben, Cameron, Noah, and Alyssa. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings. Pietro was a founding lifetime member of the Fogolar Furlan Club and was a proud bricklayer for many years with IUBAC Local 6. The family would like to extend out a special thank you to all of the staff at Oak Park Terrace and Windsor Regional. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish prayers Thursday at 4:30pm. Friends and family are welcome to gather directly at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (804 Grand Marais Rd E) on Friday, June 28 from 10am until time of Funeral Mass 10:30am. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association.
