Our condolences to all who love Jay. We have never met a man so full of life and with such a huge heart. Jay was so much fun and could brighten the day of everyone he met. He was a child magnet and I have never seen a young person that he couldn't win over with his infectious enthusiasm. The world has lost a bright star and we hope that his family and friends can find solace knowing how important a part he played in the lives of all who knew him. Jay was pound for pound the toughest competitor I’ve had the pleasure to coach. He was not afraid to challenge his teammates to do better and be better. I’ve shared many stories of Jay’s leadership and strength through adversity. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

To Jay’s mom, Jason was a beautiful kind happy spirit that could make everyone around him laugh! He remains close in my heart, and thoughts, for I will never forget him. I am so very grateful to have known him. I pray you find some semblance of solace knowing he has left an indelible mark on so many lives, I know he has on mine.
