Obituary of Amelia Gorski
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Milly on June 14, 2019, surrounded by her loving family in her 100th year. Reunited with her loving husband Mitch with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage. Predeceased by her parents Rose and Tony Moskaluk. Adored mother of Lucy Herniman and late husband Ron, Robert Gorski Sr. and wife Phyllis and Ed Gorski and wife Cynthia. Cherished grandmother of Steven (Becky), Scott, Robert Jr., David (Julie), Bill, Jennifer, the late Michael, and Stacey. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Brett, Reese, Annabelle, August, Alice, Arthur, Will, Rocco, Harry, Hannah, Michael Jr., Grace, Alexandria, Julia and Tyler. Dear sister of the late Louis and late Joe. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Milly was a dedicated employee of Windsor Raceway for 26 years. Mitch and Milly also owned and operated Gorski’s Restaurant in Colchester for 36 summers. Milly will always be remembered for her loving, kind and humorous nature. A special thank you to the devoted staff at Heron Terrace for their care and compassion given to Milly. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday June 16, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday June 17, 2019 at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd. Lakeshore, ON) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the Michael C. Rohrer Heart and Soul Walk. Online condolences may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com
