Obituary of Teresa Lepera-Rosato
LEPERA-ROSATO, Teresa (nee Lopetrone)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa, a loving wife, mother and nonna on June 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Mario Rosato and predeceased by husband Antonio Lepera (2004) Loving and devoted mother of Antonio “Tony” Lepera (Tracey), Giovanni “Johnny” Lepera and wife Michelle and Frank Lepera and wife Jennifer. Proud and cherished nonna to Julia (Zachary), Tony Jr. (Alicia), Johnny Jr. (Amanda), Marissa (Gamaliel), Michael, and Madeline. Teresa will be sadly missed by her step-sons Michael Rosato (Amanda) and Anthony Rosato (Tiffany) and her step-grandchildren Dina, Lucas, Briella, Taia and Mila. Dear sister of late Maria Rosa (Giovanni), late Pasquale (Teresa), Rosa (Antonio), Antonietta (Giacomo), Vittoria (Giuseppe) and Giovanna (Pablo) and all their families. Dear sister in-law to late Giovanni (Maria), late Sarafina (Frank), Maria (Bill), Saverio (late Italia) and Agnese (Onoratino). Dear zia to Natalina Rosato and family, and special zia to Anna Biafora (late Pino) and family. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Teresa retired from General Motors Trim Plant after many years of dedicated service and was a member of CAW Local 1973. Teresa’s pride and joy was spending time with her family where she cooked joyous meals with love, enjoyed vacationing, and had a passion for dancing. A special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hospice of Windsor, Erie St. Clair LHIN, Paramed and Bayshore for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Teresa. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Anne Church (Tecumseh) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Teresa’s life, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
