Obituary of John Steve Kulcsar

KULCSAR, John Steve Passed away peacefully at Huron Lodge on May 29, 2019 at the age of 75 years after a courageous battle following a stroke 26 years ago. Loving husband of Carol Kulcsar (nee Jozsi) for 37 years. Loving father of Jason (Jacky). Cherished grandfather of Tarryn & Hanna. Loving brother of Helen (Lloyd) Devine and brother-in-law of Bob (Robbie) Jozsi and former brother-in-law of Chuck (Darlene) Malott. John is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Linda (nee Hachey) (1979) and his parents Helen (1979) & John Sr. (1995). John was born in Windsor and was employed at Dillon Consulting as a draftsman after high school and then at Lafontaine, Cowie, Buratto and Associates Ltd. Consulting Engineers where he worked as a draftsman for almost 30 years. Special thanks to the caring staff at Huron Lodge for their kindness, love, compassion and special understanding of John. John was an inspiration to many people there because of his determination to persevere despite his many challenges - he refused to give up and pushed himself to make the most of every day. He also tried to help other residents there as he was able. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (south chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 12 noon. A private family visitation and cremation have taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to Windsor Salvation Army, Windsor Downtown Mission or the charity of your choice.
