Obituary of Charlie Lee

LEE, Charlie Wong April 11, 1930-May 24, 2019 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Charlie Lee at 89 years of age on May 24, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Donison) with whom he would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this June. Proud father of John (Patty) and Stephanie Medgall. Adored grandpa to Adam (Stephanie), Patrick (Chantelle), Ryan(Carley), Breanne and Aaron (Amy). Reunited with his parents Wong Get and Anna Lee, and in-laws John and Helen Donison. Charlie was born in Walkerville in 1930, attended Walkerville C.I. and the University of Detroit Business School. In 1950, Charlie began his career at Chrysler Canada and worked as a production control manager, retiring in 1995. Charlie was a lifelong member of St. George's Romanian Orthodox Church. Special thanks to WRH Metropolitan Campus 6N and Chartwell Oak Park Terrace for the care and compassion demonstrated during Charlie's final struggle. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Dougall Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave., 519-253-7234 on Wednesday May 29th, 2019 from 6:30 - 9pm. Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Service on Thursday May 30, 2019 at 10am. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations would be kindly accepted to place a plaque in Charlie's name to be located in the Oak Park Terrace Gardens where he and Mary resided.
