Obituary of Andrew Bryans

BRYANS, Andrew It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew at Hospice of Windsor on May 22, 2019 at 65 years of age. Andrew was a loved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Cherished son of Jane and the late Jim (1983). Dear brother of siblings Chris (Enid), Jim, Ilene (Tom), Scott, Hope (Joe) and Jason. Affectionately remembered by his nieces Leah (Ryan), Rebecca and Meredith, and nephew Nolan. Loving great-uncle of Hazel and Jackson. Dear friend of Tony Johnston. Andrew was born in Carrickfergus , N. Ireland and emigrated to Canada with his family at the age of 4 in 1957, then was a life-long resident of Windsor. He was always an avid reader, and at different times in his life enjoyed golfing, sailing and curling. Andrew become a computer hobbyist, and took pleasure in assisting friends and family with their computer challenges. At Andrew's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service, and a private cremation has taken place. Andrew's ashes will be taken to Ireland, to be scattered in the place of his birth. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to The Hospice of Windsor and to the Windsor Regional Hospital Cancer Centre. Friends wishing to remember Andrew with a memorial donation are asked to consider the family's favourite charity, Street Help of Windsor, or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
