Obituary of Teresa Lopetrone (Nee Marinelli)

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Teresa, surrounded by her loving family on May 22, 2019 at 93 years of age. Reunited with her loving husband Pasquale with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Much loved mother of Francesco Lopetrone and wife Rose Mary, Sarah Bassingthwaighte and husband Bill, John Lopetrone and Tonya Silver, and Alex Lopetrone. Cherished Nonna of Patrick, Theresa (John), Mathew, Jordan, Mitchell, Nicholas, Dean, Lucas and Shana. Dear sister of the late Antonio Marinelli and late wife Catarina and sister-in-law of the late Maria Rosa, Rosina, Antonietta, Vittoria, Joann and Teresa. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Teresa will always be remembered for her love of gardening, kind heart and generosity. Above all, her unwavering love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Hospice of Windsor for your care and compassion given to Teresa and our family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday May 26, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Monday May 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
