Obituary of Rogelio Munar Salvador
SALVADOR, Rogelio M,
Passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2019 with his family by his side at the age of 76. Loving husband of Aurora (nee de Guzman). Beloved father of Anida Lennox (Bruce), Roland and Aimee Allarey (Alvin). Cherished grandfather of Ethan and Caitlyn. Survived by his siblings Francisca Cebido, Francisco, William, Eddie, Aurora and Gerry. Predeceased by brothers Ricardo, Rodolfo and Romulo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in Brampton, Washington and in the Philippines. Rogelio was retired from Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus after 26 years of service. He had a love for the outdoors, and he especially loved watching NBA basketball. He could often be found watching TFC (The Filipino Channel), but his favourite hobby was spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. A special thank you to the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network staff for all of your care and compassion, and especially to RNs Mitzell Rapé and Patricia Simpson from St. Elizabeth’s Health Care, and to our PSW Ryan at Paramed for your assistance and care. To Dr. Rose Ann Ng and Dr. Darren Cargill for your guidance and support and to our pharmacist Parry at Rexall Pharmacy for your advice and support. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-254-7234 on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. Further visitation will take place in the chapel on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
