Obituary of Charles ``Chuck`` Leo Mayea

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on May 16, 2019. Reunited with his wife Diane Mayea (1998) and parents Leonard and Loretta (nee McFarland). Cherished father of Brian Mayea and partner Kim Delaney and Brett Mayea. Dear brother of the late Tom Mayea (late Claire-Marie), late Joseph Mayea and late Hector Mayea, late Mary Lesperance (late Robert), late Lucille Berthiaume (late Leonard), late Virginia Oates (late Jack), Dennis Mayea (Jeanne), Loretta Lappan (Larry), Bernadette Allen (James), Margaret Regnier (late Mike) and Lewis Mayea (Ellen). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Chuck retired from The GM Trim Plant with over 30 years of dedicated service. A special thank you to Dr. Pan and Dr. Yoo and all of the medical staff and nurses especially Ann Marie, Jacob, Nima and Julie at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus for your care and compassion given. Chuck will always be remembered for his love of gardening, daily walks and having family and friends over, with a good meal. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday May 21, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Ste. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
