I was saddened to hear about the recent passing of Greg. I remember one day when I was at St. Thomas School with my dad, the week before school was to start in September. We were maybe 6 and 7 and Greg was playing in the yard. I went out to play with him and then we went into Ms. Shannon's class to get a ball and while we were there, we threw it inside and broke her flower vase. My dad brought us into his office and gave us one of his talks about what had happened. My dad bought Ms. Shannon a new vase. I know for a fact that it wasn't the last time I was in trouble with my dad or Greg was in my dad's office:) I saw him over the years and he would always say something funny in that distinctive voice he had or make some funny gesture.
