Marilyn and Family, Christine gave a wonderful tribute to her dad today. I learned so many things about Laurie with this tribute and I agree, he was so much more than this terrible illness that stole so much of his personality and energy that you loved so greatly. May these loving memories sustain your family in the days, weeks and months to come. I wish that I could spend more time with you today but I have an appointment at 2 P.M. today. Deepest condolences to Laurie's family, especially Marilyn. Laurie was a good friend I have many fond memories starting at Huron Church Camp. Laurie started me on canoeing at Algonquin Park and rapid running down the Bayfield River. When ever I'm canoeing I think of Laurie. Rest in peace my friend

Marilyn and family, so sorry to hear of Laurie's passing. My memories of his dedication to Huron Church Camp and times shared in his company are things I will always remember. My dad spoke so fondly of shared time at HCC dealing with "issues" and I sure they have already met in heaven to commiserate. Jo-Dee Brown

Laurie, you were really a paramedic at heart! I remember your trunk full of first aid supplies at our family reunion baseball games! You and I shared a love of lab technology, we had some good chats about equipment and techniques. You were a very special man, and John and I always admired how close you and Marilyn were, you set a great example for young married couples! John and Pattie
