Obituary of Josip Miljan

Miljan, Josip “Joe” It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe on May 1, 2019, at the age of 91 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend to Marie (2018). Loving father to Richard (Nancy) Miljan and Lisa (Lonnie) Hawken. Treasured Grandpa to Ava, Leah and Matteo. Loving brother of Terezija, Stefica, Julijana, Andjela and Barica all of Croatia, predeceased by Drago and Dragica. Dear brother in law to Judy Mitchell and Lawrence (Deborah) Perrault. Joe will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and extended family in Canada, USA and Croatia. Joe retired from GM Trim Plant in 1993 after years of dedicated service. Joe had a strong Christian faith which reflected in the way he lived. He was very proud of his Croatian Heritage cherishing the memories of his homeland, however, Joe embraced Canada as home. Reunited and at peace with his love Marie. Always remembered, never forgotten ... Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Sunday, May 05, 2019 from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm. Visitation will continue after 10:30 am on Monday, May 06, 2019 until the time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
