Obituary of Maria Olivito

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2019, with her family by her side at the age of 91. Reunited with her parents Biagio and Caterina Spadafora. Predeceased by her loving husband Domenico (2004). Cherished mother of the late Salvatore (2006) (Nancy) Olivito, Biagio/Bill (Rita) Olivito. Adored Nonna of Mary Jean (Paul) DiMarco, Mark (Heidi) Olivito, Nick (Laura) Olivito, Danielle (Rob) Gyori, Angelia (Nick) Montaleone. Bis Nonna of Selia, Donovan, Brianna, Quintin, Julia, Adrian, Marcus, Annelise, Mia, Parker, Austin, Madison and Salvatore. Survived by brother Antonio (Teresa) Spadafora, and Sister in Laws, Marianna and Giuseppina Spadafora. Predeceased and much-loved sister of the late Giovanni, Pasquale, Francesco (Filomena), Teresa Maria (Salvatore) Foglia, and Giuseppe (Giuseppina), Maria will be forever remembered for her unending love of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maria will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Louie, Eda, John and Nancy Foglia along with Sister-in-law Giuseppina Spadafora who were always there to support our Mother with anything she needed. A special thank you to Dr.R.Jacob for his care and compassion along with staff in the Emergency at WRH. Also, to the staff at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace and Caregivers of St. Elizabeth. Thanks to the Doctors and Pharmacists at Grand Marais Urgent Care and especially Dr.John Minardi for the care and compassion given to Maria over the past years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Friends are invited to meet at St. Angela Merici Church for the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 1, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
