I was lucky enough to have Dr Mehta as a professor at U of W. He was a wondeful man. I remember that he made arrangements for students to attend a kitchen where we experienced traditional cooking. I haven't seen him in a few years but count him among the special people that have influenced my life. Maybe I should practice those breathing exercises again. Bob Pope
Condolences to the Mehta family. I knew Mahesh as a colleague back in the days when the University of Windsor had a Religious Studies Department. He was a dedicated teacher and scholar and a kind man. Maureen Muldoon
So sorry to hear about Dr. Mehta's passing. I was a student at the U of W back in the late 80s/early 90s and took several of Dr. Mehta's classes. I enjoyed each and every one. He was a passionate instructor from whom I learned alot and never forgot. My husband and I have spoken about him fondly over the years as he too was a student in numerous classes. Our deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. Tricia Koufes and Jim Tengelis
