Obituary of Angela Bortolin

Bortolin (nee Casetta), Angela “Angelina” Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28th the day before her 91st birthday at Extendicare Tecumseh. Beloved wife of the late Rosiano (2005). Loving mother of Louise and husband Agostino Brun, Serge Bortolin (1983) and Lorraine Bortolin & husband Mark Hertel (2016). Cara Nonna of Nancy Montforton and husband Tony, Larry Brun, Jaclyn Hertel and Zachary Hertel. Dear sister of Antonio, Sebastiano, Bruno and Marcello Casetta all predeceased. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Angelina was a 60 year member of the Italian Women’s Club G. Caboto Auxiliary. She retired from Windsor Catering after 25 years of service. Mom enjoyed knitting slippers, baking pizelle, playing cards and the occasional trip to the casino. She enjoyed attending mass until she was unable and did so then by watching it on TV. Donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Banwell) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday April 30th from 2-5 & 7-9 pm with Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Visitation to continue at St. John Vianney, 385 Dieppe St. on Wednesday, May 1 after 10:30 am until Mass at 11 am.
