Obituary of Michael Babechuk

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving Dad and Grandpa on April 26, 2019 at the age of 92 years, in the comfort of his home. Reunited with the love of his life Lola (nee Howe) with whom he shared over 60 years of marriage and his son Peter (2011). Cherished Dad of Michael Babechuk and wife Tina, Marianne and husband Pete Mero and late daughter-in-law Debbie Babechuk. Beloved grandpa of Rana (Chris), Michael (Emer), Matthew (Clara) and Nick. He will also be missed by the entire Howe family and many nieces and nephews. In 1952, Michael graduated from the University of Toronto- School of Pharmacy and enjoyed a long career as a dedicated pharmacist. Michael will always be remembered for his love of baseball, bowling, cribbage and the cottage. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
