Obituary of Barbara Joyce Kirk

KIRK, BARBARA JOYCE (nee Rasmussen) Passed away peacefully on April 18, 2019 at Wellington Hospice, Guelph, after a lengthly illness. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Patrick Kirk. Survived by her daughter Paula Norman (Vaughn), and sons Kory (Nancy), Terry (Laurie), Mark (Barb) and David (Cheryl). Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Joyce Janisse and late husband Jules (2014). Dear aunt to Leon (Lesley) Janisse and Michael (Juliana) Janisse and their families. Joyce enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles, reading, cooking shows, and ice cream. She will be dearly missed. The Kirk family would like to thank all the nurses, staff and volunteers at Wellington Hospice. She enjoyed getting the massages and touch therapy she received, telling us she would usually fall asleep getting these done, they relaxed her so much. At her request cremation has taken place.
