Obituary of Scott Wilson Turner
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Scott after a
short battle with cancer on April 11, 2019 at the age of 71. He did it “his way” with his family by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Judy (nee Bendick) for over 50 years. Cherished and devoted father of Shannon and Shayne Goulin and Curtis and Melanie Turner. Treasured and proud papa of Cody, Julia, Justin and Grant. Dear brother of Robert “Bob” and Carol Turner. He will also be missed dearly by both the Bendick and Turner families, many nieces, nephews and life-long friends. The last few days Scott was visited at home by many close friends and loving family members, he completed his “Bucket List” saying all that needed to be said, and having one final ride. Scott was the proud owner of Turner Photo Finishing Labs for many years. Many happy years were spent at The Windsor Yacht Club and S.P.B.C. with his cherished boating friends, usually followed with a good hangover. After retirement, he continued working in the local Funeral Home industry as a Funeral Director’s Assistant where he was passionate about helping others. When Scott became unable to work at the Funeral Home, he continued to pursue his passion of helping others as a volunteer at Aspen Lake. Scott will be remembered for his loving and caring sense of humor but most of all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday April 14, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday April 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In memory of
Scott, memorial donations may be made to “DWD” Dying with Dignity.
