Obituary of Robert Beecroft

BEECROFT, Robert “Bob” Passed peacefully at Extendicare Southwood Lakes on April 9th at the age of 96. Beloved husband of 57 years to Olga (Oogie). Loving father to Kitty (Paul) and Tom (Arlene); Grandfather to Jessie, Billy and Melanie and 3 great-grandchildren. Bob was a life long resident of Windsor. He is fondly remembered as the owner of Countryside Hardware in South Windsor, which he built into Countryside Shopping Center. He was a top salesman at Bob Peddler Real Estate for many years before moving on to Sears selling major appliances. His passion was golf in the summer and bowling in the winter. Special thanks to the staff of Extendicare Southwood Lakes. A private ceremony will be held at Windsor Chapel. Memorial donation may be made to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
