Obituary of Maria Uhryniak

Entered into Eternal Life on April 5, 2019 at Riverside Place, with her loving granddaughter, Sue, at her side. Reunited with her beloved husband of 52 years, Mykola “Nick” (1998). Maria will be greatly missed by her loving "children", Ken and Louise Cleghorn and "granddaughter", Sue and husband Bob Kovacevich, and their children, Kenny and Korey. Predeceased by parents Roman and Theodora (Teodozia) Romanczyk of Poland and siblings, Joseph (Osyf), Tekla, Anna, Joanna (Juhaska), Nick, Peter, John and Maria. Maria is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a faithful and devoted member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverside Place for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Maria during her stay. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Panakhyda (Prayers) Tuesday at 8pm. Friends are requested to meet on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (601 Lake Trail Drive, Windsor) for visitation from 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County or Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund.
