Obituary of Jean Paton Smyth

SMYTH, Jean Paton (nee Dunlop) January 18, 1930- April 2, 2019 Passed away peacefully at the age of 89 with her loving family at her side. Predeceased by parents Robert and Helen Dunlop and her brother Jimmy (1942). Predeceased by her former spouse Robert. Loving mother of Linda Deans (Bill) “Favourite son in-law”, Robert, Jim and Tim (Kim). Cherished grandmother of Kaitlin (Nick) and Brandon Smyth. A special thank you to Jill Lesperance for your loving care and support and to the dedicated staff and volunteers from Hospice for all your guidance and love. Jean will be dearly missed by all her loving friends and she said often how truly blessed she was to have lifelong friends. The first thing anyone would say when they met our mom was what a sweet lady she was, and she was that way right until the very end. If you desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated. A private family service has taken place with burial at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
