Obituary of Edward Charles Jacques

Jacques, Edward Charles September 25, 1936 - March 30,, 2019 Passed away peacefully on Saturday March 30th 2019. Beloved husband of 63 years to Edith Marlene (nee McDonnell). Loving and devoted father to Michael Edward, Christopher James of Michigan, Kathleen Mary (Bob) Cronin and Robert Joseph (Deborah). Loving, devoted and cherished papa to Marla (Marlene Elizabeth) (Dale), Bubby (Robert Michael) Cronin (Colleen), Jesse Jacques, Tara Lee and Abbey Marlene Jacques of Michigan, and Deanne Marlena Jacques. Dear great grandpa to Cleo Grace Cronin. Godfather to Arlene Winter and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Ed retired in 1991 as owner and operator of Jacques Printing Company, established in Windsor in 1892 by his grandfather, William T. Jacques. Ed was a member of Assumption Parish Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 143. Ed played racquetball for many years and was very involved in Windsor Minor Lacrosse. He spent his winters in Florida where he enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue 519-253-7234 on Tuesday April 2nd, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
