Obituary of Maria Tacconi

TACCONI, Maria (nee Tosti) It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 91 years of age. Maria was born on October 5, 1927 in Acquasanta, Italy to the late Antonio and Gilda Tosti. Cherished wife of Francesco Tacconi with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Dear sister of Teresa (late husband Adorno) Adoranti , Angelo (Domenica) Tosti, the late Pietro (late wife Giovanna) Tosti, the late Domenico (Assunta) Tosti, the late Costantino (Adele) Tosti, and the late Giovanni Tosti. Predeceased by her in-laws Maria and Emidio Tacconi. Sister-in-law of the late Giuseppe, Antonio, Amalia and Adelino Tacconi. Maria will be missed dearly by her many loving nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. Maria’s kind heart and gentle nature truly made her a special person to many. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh (Livingstone House) for your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Tuesday April 2, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services Wednesday April 3, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
