Obituary of Artemio Felet

July 13, 1925 to March 27, 2019 Passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 27, 2019 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband to Pierina (nee Feletti) for 62 years. Loving father to Onorio (Elizabeth) and Odilla (Tod) Van Delinder. Cherished nonno to Meaghan, Ted, Julia (Rob Bray) and Olivia. Survived by his siblings Elda (late Edoardo) Marcon and Teonilla (Romano) Rossi. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Artemio is predeceased by his parents; Giovanni and Caterina Felet and siblings; Giovanina (Angelo) Chinazzi, Guiseppe (Caterina), Clara (Giovanni) Cattai, Maria (Domenico) Zaia, Antonio (Ema), Lucia (Tatto) Benotto, and Luigi (Ida). Artemio came to Canada in 1958 to start a new life with his family. He worked for Beaver Keystone Construction and Teal Manufacturing. He spent his retirement, hunting, fishing, and going on daytrips in Essex County with his friends. He worked hours in his garden with Pierina and family, growing some of the best tomatoes in Windsor and loved watching his favourite soccer team, Inter, on TV on a Sunday afternoon Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 10:15am at the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici for Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Windsor-Essex or Easter Seals Camp Woodeden.
