Obituary of Joseph John Halushinski

Passed peacefully with his loving wife Edith by his side. Known as the “Love Birds” they were married 77 years, and were inseparable. Loving father of 4 daughters Judy (John Grineau), Marlene (Gary Vanlith), Sandra (Wayne Rennie) and Susie (Domenic De Santis). Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and great grandfather to 14. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces & nephews. Joe passed away 9 days short of his 101st birthday; he served in WW2, and retired as a Ford Employee of 38 years. Special thanks to Gore & Carol Joe’s two angels who cared for him deeply and loved him immensely. Special thanks also to Y Emara (HDGH) staff and all the PSW’s for their care & compassion. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5-8pm. A private service will be held with immediate family at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Joe may be made in appreciation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Joe’s famous words “I’m okay”
