JONES- Sandra Paola (Nee Meret) (Muzzin) (Marion) January 31, 1940- March 8, 2019 Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Predeceased by her parents Antonio (1994) & Iolanda (1997) Meret. Loving and cherished mother of Vivianna (Muzzin) Andreatta ( Kris Gumiela). Loving Nonna of Vanessa Andreatta and husband Scott Kennedy, Valerie Andreatta (Daryl). Dear sister of Anna (Meret) Campanotto and late husband Valter (2000), Franco Meret and wife Florinda, Noella (Meret) Piasentin and husband Franco. Loving zia of Sonia (Campanotto) Cengarlle and husband Sandro, Stephanie (Meret) Donato and husband Joe, Carla (Piasentin) Guarasci and husband Sam, Dr. Jennifer Meret (Ferrelli) and husband Emidio and the late Sandro Piasentin (1982). Dear great aunt of Josie, Gianfranco, Frank, Miranda, Felicia, Selena, Ava, Lea, Sebastiano and Simone. Godmother of Carla & Selena Guarasci and James (Jamie) Chausse and many cousins. Predeceased by her lifelong friend Margaret (Russell) Chausse. Former companion of Jim Sheridan. She will be missed by many family members on the Muzzin and Marion side. Sandra was a lifetime member of the Fogolar Furlan Club where she was active, serving as a Consigliere from 1984-1986 and as a sports chair from 2000-2011. Special thanks to Dr. Adam Sirek, Dr. Pan, Dr. Freeman, Dr. Kennette, Dr. Bergeron, Dr. Zayouna and Dr McFarland for all their care to mom during her illness. Also like to thank all the nurses and staff at 4N at WRH-Met Campus, V.O.N nurses Matt, John and Miranda also the P.S.W. workers especially U-Dona for their love, compassion and care to mom. Thank you to Fr. Gary Goyeau, Deacon Richard Heath and Rev. Terry Tribe-Johnson for your prayers, love, compassion and support during this difficult time. As per Sandra’s request and her wish there will be no visitation or services and cremation has taken place. On Monday April 15, 2019 , relatives and friends will be invited to gather at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Memorial Visitation from 9:30am until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00am. A private inurnment will be held. If you so desire, donations may be made to one of her favorite charities Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated by her family.
