Obituary of Guido Villella
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Guido Villella on March 6, 2019 at Windsor Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Giuseppina Villella (nee Mazzei) and will be profoundly missed by his children; Rosamaria Monica (late Nicolo La Commare 1990), Giuliana (Dean) and Sandra (Joe). Much loved nonno of Christina (Kory), Erica, Alexa, Devon, Daniel, Connor, Brandon and Keagon. Adoring great nonno of little Savannah. He Will be dearly missed by his sisters Rosina, Maria (late Gregorio), late Anna (Gioacchino), brother in-law Luigi and late sister in-law Maria. Guido will be missed by many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Reunited with his beloved mother Rosa (nee Scalercio) and father Giuseppe Villella. Predeceased by brothers Giovanni (Rosa), Francesco (Maria), Adolfo (Graziella), and his loving sister Ida, all from Italy. Predeceased by his mother in-law and father in-law Teresa and Pasquale Mazzei, loving brothers in-law and sisters in-law Rosa (Luigi), Maria (Giuseppe), Giovanna (Giuseppe), Francesco (Maria) and Carmela (Franco).
Guido worked for the Board of Education as a custodian and was a member of Giovanni Caboto Club for many years. For fun he enjoyed playing cards, bocce, hunting and took great pride in gardening. He will be missed by many friends and family.
A great big thanks to Guido’s son in-laws, Joe O’Brien and Dean Favot for being very supportive and for all their help throughout this long journey.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday March 8 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home Saturday March 9 at 10:15am then to St. Angela Merici (980 Louis Ave) for the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
