I worked with Flo at St. Joe's in London for many years. I have so many fun stories of Flo but the day she retired we strapped her into a wheelchair, painted her face up like a clown, and put her on the elevator on 6th floor. We pushed every button down to 0 where the love of her life Paul waited with roses. We all share countless, funny Flo stories but but she was also a dedicated nurse. Her family was everything to her and because she was a bit older than most of us she was a bit of a work Mom to many of us. Last fall we had a reunion in London. Diane was going to bring her Mom as a surprise for everyone. Sadly that day Flo wasn't up to such a long drive but with Diane's help we were able to facetime with her. Everyone got a chance to see and chat with her and now I am ever so happy that happened. She was a wonderful friend and co worker and she will always have a special place in our hearts. When someone becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. We will forever treasure Flo. ⚘
