Our Dad Graham Donald worked with Barb for many years at Lasalle Machine Tool. He always appreciated her dedication and her kindness to all. We all knew Barb also and felt the same way. Barb Delisle, along with her husband Ron, were my softball coaches in my early years of playing softball at McAuliffe Park. Barb was always very encouraging, patient and kind to all of us players on their team. I will always remember her encouraging me to play third base.
RIP big sister! She still introduced me as her baby sister! We have a lot of great memories. ALS stole her away much too soon. She took it in stride with Ron by her side. I never heard her complain. Thank you to Ron for taking exceptional care of her right to the end. My best memories are our trips to Vegas with mom. May you meet all those who have left us previously and have a big party in heaven. We will always love you and never forgotten. If you want I can take your pumpkin pies from Brendan. Love your baby sister Nancy and family.
Barb was a beautiful person inside and out. Always smiling and ready with a laugh. She faced life’s many tribulations with courage and positivity. We shared many a good times. One, in particular, was in a game of charades when we tried to guess Van Camps beans with the person wiggling and fanning their behind. We laughed about often. May she Rest In Peace. I was surprised that Barb passed away. I knew that she was not doing well but did not realize she was so sick. I know Ron how much you loved and cared for her. She is at peace now and her suffering is over. My condolences to you and Jill.

Dear Jill & family: I am so sad for you to hear of your Mom’s passing. Your Aunt Sue is also a good friend of mine, and I didn’t even realize that it was YOUR Mom coping with ALS.
