Obituary of Eric George Reid

REID, Eric George It is with heavy hearts that the Reid family announces the sudden passing of their beloved Eric on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband to the late Mary ( nee Aqulina) (2015). Predeceased by his parents Fred and Edith. Cherished father to David (Michelle) Reid, Steven (Sandra) Reid, Brian Reid (Hegine Catalan) and the late Derick Reid. Proud grandfather to Marc, Chantelle, Ashly, Matthew, Micheline, Andrew, David Jr., Amber and Joshua and great grandfather to Rosaleigh, Lukas and Ava. Dear brother of Brian (Sarah Adams), Sylvia Reid (Marilyn), Audrey King (the late Andy) and the late Joan Ware (John). Eric will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and cherished family in England. He will be remembered for his love of travel, winters in California and summers in Europe. Eric was retired from Chrysler Canada after many dedicated years of service. A special thank you to the Alzheimer’s Society for their care with Eric during his day program visits. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will take place in our chapel on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
