Obituary of Jo-Anne Marie Smillie

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 10, 2019. Loving wife to Wayne Doyscher with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. Cherished mother to Scott (Leigh Anne) Smillie, Sandi Guadagno (Dwayne MacDonald), Denise (Ian) Irvine, Sheri (Jamie) Morency, Wayne Jr. (Geanina Matte), Carolyn (Scott) Dumont. Proud grandmother to Alessia “Toots”, Jason, Meghan, Kyle, Brandi “Yoda,” Jon, and Alyson “Apple.” Dear sister of Maureen (the late Ed) Kowalski, Bob (Judy) Haslam, Tom (Cindy) Haslam, Mike (Denise) Haslam and Rick (Rachael) Haslam. She will be forever remembered and missed by the Doyscher family as well as nieces and nephews. Jo-Anne retired from the Children’s Aid Society where she dedicated many years of her career. A special thanks to all the medical staff, RNs, RPNs, PSWs and volunteers at Hospice who lovingly cared for Jo-Anne. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 4pm – 7pm at which time a prayer service for Jo-Anne will take place.
