Obituary of Albina Zanier

ZANIER, Albina (nee Scodellaro) was born on October 6, 1921 in San Martino al Tagliamento, Italy. She went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2019 at the age of 97. Albina is survived by her loving daughter Lia DeCandido (Nino), her beloved grandchildren; Christopher, Michael (Tianne) and Melissa, and survived by her dear sister Maria Silani. Albina was predeceased by her loving husband Giacomo, brothers Riccardo and Luigi Scodellaro, her sister Elsa Truant as well as many other brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. Albina loved reading, her huge garden and knitting for charity, but her greatest loves were her grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff and P.S.W.’s at Southwood Lakes Extendicare for the kindness and gentle care given to Albina. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234 on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 4:00 p.m. Further visitation will be held at Most Precious Blood Parish on Saturday, February 8, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
